Getty provides public access to much of their collection data via APIs. Getty collection data are encoded in Linked Art, a Linked Open Data model which is used to describe cultural heritage materials. Getty image metadata is encoded using IIIF, a set of open standards for delivering high-quality, attributed digital objects online at scale.
